The Ukrainian Café and Gallery was created to promote this unique culture and cuisine in the Taunton area
Maryna and Nataliia, who created the Cafe Gallery said “It provides a central place where the Ukrainian community can come and meet up with friends and integrate with the good people of Taunton. We want to develop the business so it provides opportunities for people seeking employment and a centre to support the Ukraine appeal”.
We hope that everyone will be able to come along and try our delicious and authentic cuisine at the centre of Ukrainian community in Taunton.
Maryna has now moved on to seek new business opportunities but is still working with the CICCIC which supports the local Ukrainian community, Cafe and Gallery
The project was supported by the Creative Innovation Centre CIC alongside sponsors such as Beans and Machines, Drain Fix SW, Paydough me, Somerset Supports Ukraine, Rockwell printers, H2 Catering Equipment, Estama, Charis and many individual contributions from the local community.
“This cafe/gallery will help promote and support the Ukrainian culture within the town and provide a space where the community can visit and find out more and experience the amazing food and art from Ukraine.”
The Cafe/Gallery opens on Monday 3rd July 10am – 4 pm at 13 Paul Street, Taunton, Somerset, TA1 3TP ( just opposite the library) Contact uainukshop@gmail.com
